Midgard faces a dreadful threat. The Great Old One intends to take control of the human world. Having opened the portal to a world of monsters, he doomed the people to a bloody fight which ravages the once tranquil and joyful land.
Fortunately for the Vikings Odin heard their prayers and sent the mighty Valkyries to Earth. Soon it turned out that despite their great powers Valkyries, they lack combat experience necessary for handling a straightforward fight. What they do have, however, is a fantastic power allowing them to inhabit the bodies of fallen warriors. Take control of heroes, monsters and other things and help the Vikings save their land!

Inspired by titles like Golden Axe or Castle Crashers, Die for Valhalla! characterizes itself with a fast-paced, dynamic beat‘em up gameplay. What distinguishes the game is its key theme—your basic protagonist isn’t a warrior, but the Valkyrie soaring over the map. With her unusual powers she can possess different warriors.
Control the living and reanimate the dead ones by raising them from their graves. Make use of their unique features. Choose berserkers if you like direct clashes and close-quarters fights or pick hunters if you prefer to attack from distance. Experienced Valkyries can not only control human bodies, but also affect the elements of the environment such as exploding barrels. Wreak havoc and enjoy the chaos which will make you feel at home!

Check out two compelling game modes

Die for Valhalla! features two ways for you to enjoy the adventure. Beat ‘Em Up, offers a large world for you to explore, giving the gameplay a more relaxed difficulty curve. You can revive your friends and the potions you find have useful or hilarious effects (or both).
If you are ready for a total mayhem, check out the hardcore—Rogue-lite mode. It brings you into a smaller world, where there’s no time for calculation! Hack and slash your opponents, swinging your sword with unearthly fury. Moreover, watch out, as some of the potions may not have the most desirable effects…Try both options and find the mode that suits you best. Invite friends to play a 4-person co-op and be ready for a Midgard madness!
