It’s the 25th century. About a hundred years ago the Earth was torn by a ruinous global war, which exterminated majority of live forms. In the year 2473 you were the commander of a spaceship “Titan”, heading towards the Empyrion – a land of plenty somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy, about 2.5 million light-years away from your mother planet. As the situation on Earth was getting more and more desperate, the “United Council of Humanity” placed real hope in this expedition.
Unfortunately, something went wrong with the hyperdrive and you were not meant to discover Empyrion. You woke up on an unknown planet somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy, finding out that your frigate had crashed and all of your crew had been killed. Are you brave enough to struggle in these harrowing conditions?

Explore the unlimited possibilities of a sandbox world

Procedurally generated world comprises of an enormous amount of planets and asteroids, each having their own individual gravity, atmosphere, landscapes, number of moons, flora and fauna, unknown species, available resources and others. Discover the secrets of Alien races. Explore planets on foot or build ships and travel to their moons.
Empyrion features several planet types, including desert, ice, lava, barren, oceanic, temperate and gas ones. It offers a magical world, vibrantly glittering with thousands of colors. The real game actually begins after you complete your first missions and get out of Akua (the first planet).

Build your empires from scratch

Surviving in hostile conditions will require establishing various buildings and objects. You will build everything, from large starships and small spaceships, through space and planetary stations ending on various facilities such as mining robots and solar panels. If you have ever played Minecraft or Space Engineers, you will handle it quickly.
Your base will be a self-created starship that would take you on interplanetary journeys. To access and explore a planet, you will have to build one or several small spaceships that can enter the planet’s orbit and land on its surface. Remember that every celestial body is different, therefore various features may be useful for different spaceships. Equip your frigates with weapons to defend yourself against other players and NPC enemies.

• Enjoy the multiplayer mode and interact with other players. You decide who will become your trading partner and who will you combat.
• Explore various terrain modification possibilities: Each planet constitutes a voxel-based terrain. You can completely modify and deform the landscape: flatten it for your planetary station, dig holes seeking for resources or build a tunnel system to protect yourself.
• Check out the creative mode: Build your own crazy planets. Join the Creative Community and share your creations, uploading them to the Steam Workshop!
• Remember, however, that you are running out of food, the amount of oxygen is limited and the resources are scarce. Do you have enough bravery (and ammo) to wander around the map?
