A retro (yet refreshed) graphics are going to awaken your sense of nostalgia. The game is a turn-based jRPG which uses the ATB system The ATB gauge tracks when party members are going to act. When the gauge is full, members perform an action.

The speed of gauge filling can be modified by many different aspects like character speed, buffs etc. <śtrong>Lost Sphere gameplay introduces an entirely new, ATB 2.0 and gives a greater sense of freedom, as the player can move and place characters around the battlefield. New strategies seem to take into account the area of effect of spells and abilities as well. Your movement, range of spells, area of effect etc. have to be taken into consideration during the battle itself. Thanks to this, even though the battle is turn-based, still it is very dynamic and requires constant shifting of your position.

Hello, your name is Kanata. You're a young boy who lives with his family and friends in a small village of Elgarthe. You're a skilled swordsman whose main responsibility is to protect the village from monsters. One day though, you woke up from a nightmare, which turns into reality. Your village and people you once knew started to disappear in the never-ending void. Luckily, a mysterious power of memory awakens within you. Thanks to this you're able to locate and collect memory pieces, scattered across the World and then use them to bring back from the outskirts of time places, characters or even conjure a brand new buildings from memories which you put together like a jigsaw pieces.

Build a team of heroes

Like in most jRPG-s one of your main tasks is to build a proper team. Besides Kanata there are many other characters which you can utilize in your team. For example Lumina, a skillful fighter and your childhood friend, a young kid and the master of ranged weapon Locke, or mysterious magician Van, who seems to understand the strange phenomenon, currently occurring in your World. Each character is different and has a deep and interesting personality, sometimes connected with a tragic or dark past.
