MotoGP 19 is another release of a series of realistic racing simulators in which players have an opportunity to feel the thrill accompanying bike riders. The developers responsible for creating MotoGP 19 is an Italian studio called Milestone which puts a lot of effort into developing the series throughout the years. The game gives players a chance to race with world-famous raiders of MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, Red Bull Rookies Cup and even the new MotoE classes on 19 challenging and diversified tracks.

New gameplay mechanics

MotoGP 19 is offering all the classic game modes, typical for the series like Carrier, Quick Race, Time Trials and Multiplayer Races but also introduces plenty of new mechanics, and improvements. One of them is a totally new carrier mode called the Pro. In this mode, the player has to race through the whole season without a possibility to re-take the race in case of little slip-ups and accidents. In addition to that, the Pro mode puts players’ skills to the test due to a properly high difficulty level. A new game mode called 500CC Heroes allows players to experience the most exciting events from the history of real MotoGP. 500CC Heroes mode unlocks three additional tracks: Laguna Seca, Donington Park, and Catalunya. 

MotoGP 2019 game introduced a new system of tires wear which depends on the air and asphalt temperature, or the player’s style of driving. Now, the decision of the tires may be crucial during the races and bad choices can result in poor performance. One of the most important new features which can be found in MotoGP 19 is a new and highly advanced artificial intelligence system called Neural A.I. The mentioned system is constantly learning and evolving depending on the player’s behavior, which results in a challenging and satisfying experience while racing. Those players, who prefer competing with others, may put their skills to the test during the multiplayer championship, now on dedicated servers. It is worth to mention that the game has introduced innovative Race Director Mode which allows players to modify rules of racing. The developers also implemented a special graphics editor that allows players to create unique logos that can be put on a helmet, bike, or the uniform of the raider.

Reception

MotoGP 19 for PC was well-received within the gaming community. Players appreciated the fact that developers have significantly improved old mechanics, as well as introduced new ones. Much better graphics, realistic riding simulation, dedicated servers, and improved A.I. was enough of confirmation that the game is a great racing simulation.
