Runeborn is a dark fantasy roguelike that merges deckbuilding with a slot-machine-like mechanic. Forge your Runebook, crush enemies, and combine trinkets of boundless power to destroy the forces of Malakar!

Gameplay

Cast spells by spinning Rune Columns like slot reels, matching results along five Spell Lines to deal damage. Strategically lock up to 8 Runes in place while others spin for better control. Customize your rune columns in a deck-building system, adding, removing, and modifying Runes to suit your playstyle. Enhance your abilities with amulets and auras for additional effects when casting spells.

Story

Embark on a perilous journey to defeat the malevolent forces of Malakar. As a Runeborn, you wield ancient magic, forging powerful Runebooks and gathering trinkets of immense power. Battle through hordes of enemies, face elite foes, and overcome deadly challenges to bring an end to the darkness threatening the realm.
