Gameplay

SILENT HILL: Townfall combines exploration, survival, stealth, combat, and environmental puzzle solving. Players move through St. Amelia from a first-person perspective, searching its abandoned locations while staying alert to the creatures roaming the town.

Not every encounter has to become a fight. Simon can hide, track threats from cover, sneak past enemies, or lure them away using distractions. When confrontation becomes unavoidable, players can use melee weapons to attack and block or rely on firearms to keep enemies at a distance. Limited weapons and tools encourage careful decisions about when to fight and when to escape.

The CRTV is one of Simon's most important tools. This pocket television can be tuned to unstable analog signals that reveal nearby threats, mysterious clues, and pieces of the narrative. Its transmissions are closely connected to the puzzles and mysteries encountered throughout the game.

Story

Simon Ordell is summoned back to the remote island town of St. Amelia to “put things right.” He arrives with few answers and begins following cryptic messages transmitted through the strange CRTV he discovers along the way.

As Simon ventures deeper into the seemingly abandoned settlement, fragments of its past begin to emerge. His connection to St. Amelia, its inhabitants, and the events that shaped the town becomes increasingly important. The story focuses on introspection, loss, consequence, and the uncertain boundary between reality and delusion.
