Before The Night is an independent horror video game combining what we love about the action-adventure genre with creepy fable. This unusual game was developed and published by Uneducated Game Studio, a small company from South Korea, in 2022.

Get ready for a wild ride: while the aesthetics of this game may look cute and funny at first, you’ll soon find out just how dark and twisted the reality of your protagonist, Lisa, is! That’s because the Before The Night video game is set in a disturbing world, where animals are keeping humans as pets.

Before The Night is a single-player independent video game that combines action-adventure puzzle gameplay with exploration, horror and survival elements. Help Lisa escape from her owners and the haunted village they live in, and take revenge on the bloodthirsty rabbits!

Escape the village

The nightmarish story of Before The Night is presented via a series of puzzle stages that require both quick thinking and dexterity to win. Steal precious Flowers of Life to discover the dark story of the village and its inhabitants and take revenge on the evil rabbits. Be fast though as picking the Flower of Life will start the dangerous nighttime, and the world around you changes as soon as the night falls!

Lisa can use various methods in order to show the villagers who’s in charge now - she starts her adventure equipped with her trusty hammer, but will eventually discover both upgrades for her beloved weapon and new tools of destruction to test out. Intense combat is not the only thing Before The Night has to offer though - it will challenge your stealth skills like no other game! Avoid traps, sneak your way through the levels and make the best use of the elements of the environment you encounter, and maybe you will survive the night...
