Regrow the land with enhanced and domesticated biotica, adding depth to your world-building experience.

Gameplay

In Reus 2: Grasslands Expansion, players must carefully manage the fragile balance of the Grasslands biome. Stress accumulates with each biotica placed, eventually triggering wildfires that spread across the land. Strategic use of chain reactions allows players to upgrade affected areas, while new biotica types—boosted and domesticated—help restore and enhance the environment. The expansion also introduces four unique leaders, each with distinct playstyles, and three new eras that reshape the planet's narrative.

Story

The Grasslands Expansion weaves a tale of resilience and transformation. As players cultivate this volatile biome, they must navigate the cycle of destruction and renewal. The new leaders—Farmer, Cultist, Architect, and Astronaut—each bring their own philosophies and goals, influencing how humans interact with the land. The three additional eras—Fabled City, Heavenly Planet, and Biokinetic Dream—offer fresh storylines, from myth-inspired inventions to a sci-fi utopia where nature and technology merge.
